An idea is a good way to begin, but things usually get out of control after that. The beginning is not always the best place to start; the end is only temporary and the middle can move in all directions.
Restraint is important, but then so is spontaneity. It just feels good to be impulsive.
Nothing is always an important thing to consider. But getting back to the idea. Not all are outstanding, in fact, very few are, some are clever, some profound, but most never seem to get off the ground. Of all the great ideas I have ever had, I wish I would have thought of first. Have I said too much?
