Trading pixels for felt, wires for yarn, buttons for buttons, mac pro for a brother sewing machine. There was a desire for real touch, not virtual.

These monsters awoke when I started thinking about my daughter-to-be, no larger than a blueberry at the time. I wanted to create for her.

Show her monsters ARE under the bed but instead of fright, they will
bring you cookies and cups of tea.

Her favorite right now is Jack.

These monsters are part of an ongoing series and have been shown in group exhibits in Montreal and Seattle.
